The Health Sector Information Management Information Technology Division (HSIMIT) provides sector-wide leadership for IMIT strategy, governance, investment planning, policy and legislation, privacy and security, vendor management, and business solutions.
The Full Stack Developer, CRM Analyst is responsible for the development delivery and support of scalable Software as a Service applications, including ServiceNow and Salesforce, in a continuous deployment environment.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in the computer science field and one [1] year of related experience*; or
- Certification in the computer science field and two [2] years of related experience*; or
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience* may be considered.
- Related experience must include a combination of the following:
- Experience in web development languages (i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, Golang or other web languages).
- Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git, Subversion or equivalent).
Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following:
- Experience in data modelling, process modelling, and/or business area analysis techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes and tools.
- Experience in application design and the development life cycle.
- Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings (i.e., ServiceNow/Salesforce) and the benefits of using them.

This position can be based in any of the following Ministry of Health offices: Duncan, Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work 4 or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
