Role Purpose/ Summary:
A retail associate, you will be responsible for supporting our managers to provide cannabis expertise, train our amazing team, and help customers make informed decisions about their cannabis needs.

Key responsibilities:
- Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis
- Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products
- Training staff within Prairie Records, Saskatchewan on the cannabis products, differentiators and technical expertise within the cannabis market.
- Inventory management across all Saskatchewan Retail Outlets
- Must be able to demonstrate professionalism, and key Cannabis knowledge in selling and upselling to our customers.
- Must have the ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast pace environment
- Model sales and service excellence creating a culture where all associates align around the needs of the customers.
- Willing to assist customers team members, maintaining positive energy as needed to create an exceptional customer experience.
- Proactively communicate store information, brand initiatives, discrepancies and other pertinent information to management in order to better enhance the customer experience.
- Professionally represent the Prairie Records brand image.
- Complete tasks as assigned by the Regional General Manager

Qualifications:
- *Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW) certification is required*
- *Sell Safe certification is required*
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) years retail, food service management, or customer service experience is preferred
- Diverse experience working with POS systems and Office 365
- Successfully pass a criminal record check
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be 19 years of age or older

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multi-task efficiently
- Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Flexible schedule with ability to work occasional evenings
- You must have a genuine interest in the Cannabis industry
Closing remarks:
We will be evaluating the ideal candidate against these three things:

A lot of the above skills can be taught but bottom line is, we are most interested in those who have the right attitude.
