We are an electrical contractor looking for an artistic & brand forward marketing coordinator who has a passion for sustainability. Reporting directly to our head of marketing, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team's success. We encourage you to have fun, co-create inventive projects, and help provide direction toward our marketing goals. This position is particularly suited for marketing students or recent graduates who are keen on gaining hands-on practical experience. This is a part-time role (25 hours per week), with 95% remote work and 5% on-site work.

As the ideal candidate, you possess the following:
● Have a passion for sustainability
● Strong branding skills
● Strong graphic design skills
● Experienced in WordPress
● Tech Savvy and proficient in social media, email marketing, analytics software, and content management systems
● Proficient with digital tools such as Canva (Access to and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is a plus)
● Creative mindset
● Attention to detail
● Be able to take an idea or concept and be able to bring it to life artistically
● Be able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects.
● Adaptable
● A willingness to continuously learn in order to problem solve and stay up to date on industry trends.
● Knowledgeable or has a strong interest in learning about technology; particularly in the areas of LED lighting, Internet of Things, EV charging, solar panels, and battery storage.
What You'll Do Here:
● Enhance and refine brand guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment across all brand touchpoints.
● Generate visually appealing graphics in line with brand guidelines for social media platforms.
● Help manage social media scheduling and calendar planning to ensure strategic and timely content distribution.
● Execute website updates and design enhancements on WordPress, maintaining a visually appealing and user-friendly online presence.
● Develop consistent assets for web, print, packaging, signage, and social media platforms
● Prepare print-ready files for branded collateral and marketing materials
● Create "Before" and "After "project videos and photos
● Help develop/maintain social media profiles and provide quality content, supporting and expanding our digital presence
● Create educational web animations or videos for social media
● Help create and prepare case studies
● Participate in collaborative marketing strategy brainstorming sessions
● Help develop marketing schedules and maintain deadlines
● Create and update marketing procedures.
● Organize and maintain marketing folders
● Prepare marketing reports
● Design and launch monthly newsletter
● Occasionally attend trade shows or visit job sites to create picture/video content.
Job Requirements:
● Personal computer
● Class 5 license and own transportation
● Able to pass Police and Security Checks
● Able to work remotely or from South Surrey office (when needed)
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
