Job Description Company:Finning CanadaNumber of Openings:1Worker Type:PermanentPosition Overview:The Service Operations Manager will effectively plan, schedule and manage service workload and resources to meet customers’ expectations for equipment service and maintenance. Responsible for the day-to-day operational requirements of the branch and to set the strategy and goals for the branch operations business plan.Job Description:Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of staff, including recruitment and selection, orientation, coaching and mentoring, performance feedback, and supporting growth and development opportunities.Support a healthy and safe workplace by ensuring that all safety practices and policies are followed by employees, contractors and on site customers.Manage and monitor the work order process.Continually identify and recommend opportunities to improve service to customers.Responsible for managing service operations and assets to achieve best possible financial results, aligned with the corporate strategy and personal objectives.Effective planning, management and reporting of service financial results, assets and facilities requirements.Education and Experience:5 to 10 years in a mechanical service environment with leadership experienceProficiency in MS Office Suite and service support systemsSound knowledge of current products and services and CAT dealer relationshipsStrong knowledge of Warranty and Goodwill practicesThorough understanding of the union and Finning’s collective agreementsUnderstands and adheres to Finning policies and procedures, including safety best practicesWe are committed to diversity at Finning, to building and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce and as an equal opportunity employer we encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
