Operation Supervisor, Pharmaceutical Distribution Centre
2 full time, permanent positions
Shift: Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12am OR Sunday to Thursday , 11pm-7am
Location: 3330 192nd Street, Surrey
The Operation Supervisor positions are full-time/permanent and offer a competitive compensation, paid vacation, group insurance from day of hire, an annual management incentive program, and an additional shift premium. Free parking is available.

Job Summary:
As an Operations Supervisor for McKesson Distribution, you will use your leadership skills to drive a culture of excellence through execution of daily operational plans and strategies. You will lead by allocating resources, disseminating information to teammates, and ensuring compliance with key processes, all while achieving safety, quality, efficiency and financial KPI's.
In this dynamic, fast-paced role you will exercise strategic thinking, effective planning, and utilize your communication skills to motivate and inspire your team, driving a culture of excellence.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Effective interpretation and facilitation of local collective agreement to foster relationship between management and the union

- Employee Lean Six Sigma methodology to optimize operational processes
- Implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities
Additional Qualifications:
- Post secondary education (Business/ Operations management, Supply Chain management or related field) is preferred
- 3 years' of experience in a leadership role in a warehouse environment and/or a combination of education and experience may also be considered
- Demonstrated use of Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in an automated environment is preferred
- Ability to capitalize on people's abilities - right people in right roles with the right responsibility
- Proven ability to mentor and develop staff, demonstrating the commitment to helping people succeed
- Capable of giving honest feedback and respectfully challenge others
- Ability to make difficult (sometimes unpopular) decisions when required
- Demonstrated passion aligned with McKesson's corporate vision, leading with the employee in mind
- Demonstrated ability to adapt communication skills to effectively influence different audiences
- Actively seeks opportunities to build and maintain relationships both in and out of business unit
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement with fundamental understanding of change management
- Labor Relations experience an asset
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure
- Utilize Business Intelligence data to determine business decisions that deliver and exceed expected performance
- The successful candidate must be willing and able to participate in a background check

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$66,500 - $110,800
