Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our Synthetic Grass Department. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding the distribution of our synthetic grass products through landscape construction companies and landscape distribution companies across Canada and the western USA. This position offers an uncapped commission structure in addition to a competitive base salary. Your goal-driven mindset and ability to generate new opportunities from cold calling will be key to your success. The position requires your presence in our office from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30PM.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target landscape construction companies and landscape distribution companies to establish new business relationships.
- Conduct cold calls and engage in proactive outreach to generate leads and opportunities for synthetic grass sales.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing and nurturing leads throughout the sales process.
- Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our synthetic grass products to potential customers, showcasing their value and suitability for various applications.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective strategies and campaigns to drive sales growth and expand market reach.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote our synthetic grass offerings.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively position our products and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the Sales Manager on a regular basis.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong cold calling and prospecting skills, with the ability to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and driven by results, with a passion for achieving and surpassing sales goals.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the landscape construction industry and familiarity with synthetic grass products is an asset.
- Proficient in using CRM software and sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and report on sales performance.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and customer visits, as required.
- Punctuality and reliability, with a strong commitment to working in the office from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
