Role: Senior Project Manager

Clearance: MUST hold a Secret security clearance (please indicate on resume)

Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

· Delivery of interior design, refurbishment and maintenance projects;

· Defining project scopes, constraints, deliverables and risks to project objectives;

· Creating detailed project plans, timelines and budgets;

· Creating project concept and design presentations, including detailed project delivery processes;

· Reviewing layouts and plans against Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) fit-up standards and the National Building Code;

· Working with a variety of project management tools such as project budgets and schedules;

· Conducting post project reviews/lessons learned;

· Preparing drafts for formal project documents and reports;

· Providing interior design services such as developing partition plans; selection and coordination of style, finishes, materials and colour schemes for interior architectural and interior design elements;

· Sourcing furniture and furnishings for assigned projects; and

· Preparing procurement documents, purchase orders, warehouse and shipping information

Skills/Experience Required:

· MUST HOLD A secret security clearance (please indicate on resume)

· Must have a one of the following:

o Undergraduate degree in Project Management

o Bachelor degree or advanced diploma in Interior Design

· A minimum of 1 year experience using the following:

o AutoCAD

o MS Office Suite

· A minimum of 8 years’ experience in:

o Preparing furniture layouts

o Selecting and coordinating style, finishes, materials, colour schemes for architectural and interior design elements

o Selecting and coordinating furniture in accordance with function.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months
