Job Description

The Right Move Physiotherapy and Health Management inc. is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow in the healthcare field. The candidate will be able to work independently and will be able to communicate well with patients, staff, and management. The candidate will also possess a strong attention to detail and will be able to perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities:
·Greet patients, visitors, vendors, and other team members with enthusiasm and warmth.
·Answer incoming calls and schedule patient appointments.
·Collect copays, co-pays, co-insurance, or other payments from patients and or vendors.
·Verify patient insurance benefits prior to initial visit.
·Know how to use medical software such as EMR systems for managing patient records.
·Know how to use a calculator for simple addition and subtraction.
·Know how to use a computer for data entry.
·Know how to use basic office equipment such as copier, fax machine, etc.
·Know how to use computers for data entry.
·Know how to use computers for data entry.
·Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the appropriate department or personnel as needed.
·Maintain cleanliness of reception area including but not limited to cleaning of all tables, chairs, countertops, etc. and sanitizing counters throughout the day.
·Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms throughout the day.
·Maintain cleanliness of all equipment throughout the building including but not limited to desks, chairs, etc..

Qualifications: Skills: Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
