Agency Sales Specialist
Remote (Preference for candidates based in Vancouver, BC)
Job Overview:
As a key member of our sales team at Revenue Automation, the Agency Sales Specialist will be instrumental in driving new business and fostering revenue growth. We are in search of a seasoned, high-performing individual with a solid background in sales and a deep understanding of the digital marketing industry. In this role, you will be focused on lead generation, relationship building, and deal closure, articulating the unique benefits and value of partnering with Revenue Automation to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discover and engage potential clients that resonate with Revenue Automation's target market and industry focus.
- Construct and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct comprehensive research and needs assessments to understand the business objectives, challenges, and digital marketing requirements of prospective clients.
- Craft and deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations, customizing Revenue Automation's value proposition to each client's specific needs and goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to utilize marketing resources, case studies, and client success stories in support of the sales process.
- Negotiate and finalize sales contracts, balancing favourable terms for both Revenue Automation and the client.
- Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships, providing superior customer service and acting as a reliable advisor throughout the engagement.
- Stay current with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively promote Revenue Automation's services and sustain a competitive edge.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, underscoring key performance indicators and progress toward sales objectives.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record (5+ years) of sales success within the digital marketing industry, preferably in a B2B agency setting.
- Demonstrable expertise in generating new business and closing deals, consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and technologies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and marketing automation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to forge relationships, negotiate effectively, and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, fostering a customer-centric approach and long-term client partnerships.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual capable of working independently and remotely.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple sales opportunities concurrently, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage and track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of understanding client needs and proposing effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
