Job Description
We are a pallet recycling company seeking a Sales and Business Development professional to fill this key role in our company. The successful candidate will be passionate about sales, and will use their education, skills and experience for procurement and sales of wooden pallets. The individual will build and foster customer relationships and work with the Operations team to coordinate inventory and production. This position is suitable for a driven, self starter who can source and sell.
Responsibilities:
- Build and expand business
- Maintain relationships with existing customer base providing exceptional customer support and retention
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Provide detailed monthly reports
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals, quotes, spec sheets and presentations
- Actively prospect in new areas
- Attend conferences, meetings and industry events
- Maintain price list and manage pricing strategies
- Assist with inventory management and reporting
- Maintain relationships with suppliers
- Lumber purchasing
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals, quotes and presentations
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing
- Experience in the wood packaging industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of wood packaging specs
- Proven track record in sales
- Excellent analytical skills
- Solid mathematical skills
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Teams
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Team oriented contributor who will collaborate with others to achieve best results
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
