What you will do
As a Membership Sales employee, you play an integral role in ensuring programming excellence through providing a positive, inclusive, and meaningful Y experience. This Y experience enhances participant achievement of a healthy lifestyle and healthy communities. Reporting to the Membership Supervisor, this role is integral to ensure the facility is a positive and welcoming environment for members, visitors, and program participants.
- Greet each member, participant, potential member, volunteer and staff with a welcoming attitude and smile.
- Provide friendly service, assistance and information to each member, participant, potential member, volunteer and staff when they are attending the YMCA in person or when they call
- Promote YMCA membership in a positive and professional manner
- Develop positive relationships with your team, members and volunteers
- Support and work as part of a team to ensure excellent service to both customers and fellow employees.
What you will bring to the position:
- Minimum OSSD
- Excellent telephone skills and computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality
- Standard First Aid & CPR C
- Preference to those with experience working in a customer service atmosphere and those that thrive on change and diversity
Working Conditions:
- Vulnerable Sector Check issued no later than 30 days preceding your start date
