Reporting to the Agency Manager, the Customer Sales and Service Representative 2 (CSSR 2) is responsible for serving and assisting customers in the selection and purchase of goods and services and/or fuel and fuel products to meet their needs and adhere to all UFA customer service standards. This includes ensuring that member/ customers are promptly and efficiently served and inventory is received, shipped and handled in an accurate and safe manner.
- Maximize sales and customer support through best-in-class customer service. Provide prompt service and assistance to UFA’s customers in a friendly and courteous manner either in person or over the phone.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency with sales and receipts, and in balancing cash as directed. Prepare billings for customers and process payments.
- Perform opening/closing balancing cash procedures including paper flow in an accurate and timely manner. Key holder responsibilities may be required.
- Participate in all aspects of the shipping/ receiving/ inventory functions, accountable for accurate completion of all receiving, shipping, inventory control and administrative requirements; ensure excellent service is provided to all customers.
- Operate all materials handling equipment. Load and unload trucks. Follow UFA loading and unloading procedures to ensure products are safety secured.
- Ensure store, yard, site, warehouses, and exterior locations are clean, neat, well organized, and in compliance with UFA’s safety and operational standards.
- assist with fuel inventory management activities such as daily fuel reconciliations, fuel variance investigation, weekly physical tank dips, and dispenser meter head comparisons.
- Grade 12 diploma with 3-5 years of related experience.
- Cash handling, computer proficiency, previous customer service experience required.
- Agriculture/AgriBusiness or petroleum background an asset.
- Self-motivated with a continuous learning approach about the business of UFA.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision, self-motivated.
- Capable of physical labour; capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
- Warehouse or yard and forklift experience required.
- Must remain current with any and all required certifications, including WHMIS and TDG.
