We are looking for a team-oriented, passionate, enthusiastic, professional, and skilled Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist to add to our team! *This is an in-person position only*
Rooted in Counselling is a growing private practice focused on providing evidence-based intervention to children, adolescents, and adults. We are seeking a Psychotherapist/Social Worker to join our team as an Independent Contractor. Based out of the heart of Bracebridge Ontario, we provide timely and effective support. The meaning of “rooted” to us is connected deeply and firmly – it describes our relationships with counselling. We believe counselling and therapy are the foundation for meaningful growth. We have a general focus on mental health issues, and a specific interest in anxiety, OCD, depression, and trauma-based treatment.
The counsellor/therapist will be provided with full administrative support, a furnished clinic room, booking/charting/billing systems, and some clinic marketing. We operate on a split basis to start and can discuss details of the contract with each individual upon application to figure out the best setup for both parties. Please note, this is a competitive split. Are you ready to start growing your private practice? We are looking for a practitioner to offer in-person as well as some virtual counselling on days, evenings and/or weekdays.
Qualifications and Requirements
- BSW/ MSW / Psychotherapist
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Social Worker and Social Service Workers or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Must have direct clinical counselling experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas would be an asset: motivational interviewing, CBT/DBT, EMDR, SFBT, EFT
- Experience with couples and children is an asset.

Salary: $125.00-$145.00 per hour
