ABOUT US
The Couples Clinic is looking for a Social Worker who is interested in moving into private practice and assisting us in our quest to help #1millionmarriages.
You will work both from our home office in Sarnia with the potential of additional online therapy. We are specifically looking for people who are willing to work evening hours to accommodate couples.
Requirements and Responsibilities
- You will be working in office and potentially online, as an Independent Contractor Psychotherapist/Counsellor.
- You will be providing psycho-education and interventions, based on The Couples Clinic ® program, to couples in Sarnia and potentially across Ontario. This includes video’s, session handouts, and voluntary homework.
- You will be delivering psychotherapy and counselling services according to the regulations of the Professional Association you belong to.
- Clients and marketing are provided by The Couples Clinic.
- Currently looking for a person who is willing to work evenings.
- Create and input case notes in a timely manner.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and data protection and upholding client privacy at all times.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work.
- Registered and in good standing with the OCSWSSW
- Preference for individuals who have experience working with mandated clients, use of authority and/or difficult to serve populations.
- Working with couples previously is an asset but not requirement as we are a training facility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Professional Liability Insurance maintained annually .
- Valid Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (within the last year).

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: $70.00-$90.00 per hour

- Covid Screening of clients and staff.
- Mandated use of hand sanitizer.
- Enhanced Cleaning of office.
-Staggered entry of clients to ensure no overlap in waiting room.

- Master's Degree (required)
