As a Walmart Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions. You will work with product, and business owners to understand the product requirements and change requests. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, micro-services, SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, GCP, Azure, ELK stack, BigQuery, React, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions.
Take ownership of full-stack development, including front-end and back-end components.
Utilize your expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices to create robust and efficient applications.
Design and optimize databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies for data storage and retrieval.
Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Work with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure to build scalable and secure applications.
Utilize the ELK stack for log analysis and monitoring of system performance.
Develop and optimize queries using Big Query to analyze large datasets.
Create responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
Collaborate with the team to perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
What you’ll Bring ...
At least 3-4 years of experience in Java Application Development
Experience with a strong focus on Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases for data modeling and querying.
Hands-on experience with Kafka for building scalable and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP and Azure for deploying and managing applications.
Strong understanding of ELK stack for log analysis and system monitoring.
Experience with BigQuery for data analysis and reporting.
Solid knowledge of front-end technologies such as React JS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
Ability to work in an agile development environment and deliver high-quality code within deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
