Summary:
This person is primarily responsible for managing the sales and marketing of Compass’ agricultural, consumer and industrial products in Ontario. Products include water conditioning, deicing, food and meat processing products, consumer, pool, chemical salts and various agricultural products; both branded and bulk.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited, to the following:(Management reserves the right to add or modify the duties and responsibilities at any time) · Meet or exceed budgeted volume and margin (price) objectives.
- Within assigned territory, sources, establishes, deepens and maintains key customer relationships and grows the customer base.
- Creates and implements sales and marketing plans for territory including planning, promotions, pricing strategies and budget preparation.
- Manages and monitors sales pipeline using CRM tool (Salesforce.com).
- Works as team player, actively participating in sales meetings, events and presentations.
- Works collaboratively with Business Mgt., Planning, Logistics and Customer Service to assure product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrates leadership in sales, internal and external customer service, continuous improvement, learning, teamwork and safety.
- Continues to raise the bar by “Actively looking for ways to improve and grow the business and self."
- Perform other related duties as required.

- 4 - 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Sales experience in the food, industrial or agricultural fields is strongly preferred.
Travel: Must be able to travel 50%-60% of the time and regularly with overnight stays.
