Summary description:
Responsible for load securement and the transportation of logs from the loading site to unloading sites in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining good conditions of vehicles and trailers following all applicable regulations, rules and safety procedures from LOTS Group, customers and worksites. Report deviations to leadership when they occur. Ensure the conservation and safety of vehicles and keeping the professional license document up to date and valid.
Key activities:
- Comply with the daily transportation planning
- Operate trucks according to standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Deliver logs to designated loading sites
- Report deviations, incidents and accidents through Deviation App when occur, as well to its leadership
- Perform safety check before starting the trip
- Follow national traffic laws and LOTS Group, customers and workplace safety rules
- Maintain a current Class One Driver’s license and any other required professional qualifications
- Maintain the company's vehicles and trailers in good condition and conservation
- Fulfill the daily activities appointed by its leader
- Attend daily pulse shift start meetings & DSD, when applicable
- Carry out other activities required by the company inherent to the position
