BDL is a private joint venture company owned by Labatt Breweries of Canada and Molson Coors Breweries that provides wholesale distribution of beer and the collection of returnable, refillable and recyclable beer containers within the four Western Canadian Provinces, Northwest Territories and the Yukon. We are currently searching for a Class 1 Driver reporting to the Manager, Operations. This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity. Starting wage is $24.21/hour with shift premiums and wage increases as per the collective agreement.
Calgary Distribution Centre located at Unit 135 – 12285 18th St. NE., Calgary, AB
- Delivery of bottles, cans, and kegs of beer to various customers in Winnipeg and the surrounding communities
- Pickup of recycling and refillable materials from various customers
- Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
- Ensure the customer targets and goals are successfully met
- Ensure the company’s Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
- Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service
- Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent
- Must have a valid Class 1 drivers license in good standing and clear abstract
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous beverage delivery experience is considered an asset
- Previous experience working with a walk-behind power transport unit would be considered an asset
- Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
- Demonstrated reliability and dependability
- The availability to work varied shifts, including nights, is necessary to succeed in this role
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills
