About the Position
Raven Force Couriers are looking for a Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR team and oversee all aspects of employee relations, recruitment, hiring, retention, compensation and benefits administration, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in human resources management and a passion for creating a great work environment.
Responsibilities
- Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them; and create optimum working conditions
- Ensure compliance with state employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with the development of employment contracts and related benefit packages.
- Assist with the development of compensation plans and benefit packages.
- Assist with the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Develop HR policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Conduct annual performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as an expert in compensation metrics (including salary cost vs. benefit) for the company.
- Serve as an expert in hiring talent for the company.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in human resources or related field.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $61.54-$62.00 per hour
