Job Description

Job Summary:

We seek a detail-oriented, reliable, versatile, and flexible individual to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist. This role will primarily support warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and customer communication. Additionally, the position requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to step in and fulfill various roles within the company quickly. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse setting, proficiency in Excel, strong communication skills, the ability to lift heavy objects, and the adaptability to handle different responsibilities within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods.
• Use Excel to track inventory, create reports, and perform data analysis to support warehouse management.
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock counts.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Lift and move heavy objects, following proper lifting techniques and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics, resolve discrepancies, and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with the customer service team to address customer inquiries, concerns, and order-related issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements and warehouse optimization initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of various roles and tasks within the company.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple areas and perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adaptability in various work environments.
• Continuously update knowledge and skills to effectively handle different roles within the company.
• To perform additional tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or relevant certifications are a plus).
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics role is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formula creation, and report generation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 20 lbs) and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is an asset.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to warehouse operations.
