We are currently seeking a resourceful Senior Accountant to become an integral part of our vibrant team. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team and cross-functional units, playing a crucial role in fulfilling our client's financial and compliance objectives. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to influence our financial operations and contribute significantly to our continued success.
Responsibilities
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue, and expenses.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the budgeting process.
- Identify errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Provide technical support and advice on accounting matters.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in the department’s goal-setting process.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Review working papers and procedures, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare financial statements.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as a chief or senior accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Awareness of business trends.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.

Salary: $69,000.00-$77,765.00 per year
