Manmade is a young yet innovative eCommerce retailer offering high quality essential garments for men. Based in Montreal, Quebec, we design, produce, market, and distribute quality apparel across Canada and the USA as well.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Analyst. This position plays a crucial role in helping our Director of Finance with our accounting, financing, managerial operations, reporting directly to one of our Co-Founders who happens to be a CPA (eligible for CPA Professional Experience). Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conducting financial analysis and providing insights on financial performance.
- Assisting with cash flow management and forecasting.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
- Supporting the financial planning and forecasting processes.
- Contributing to the improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects as required.
- Cost accounting of inventory to determine landed costs.
- Issuing purchase orders and managing accounts payables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Dynamic ability to work with large datasets and conduct data analysis.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
You must have a Canadian work permit and currently live in Canada, this position is non-remote.
