Maple Lodge Farms, Canada’s largest and most trusted chicken provider is looking for a Accounts Payable Clerk.

What you will get to do:
- Validate G/L coding and proper approval on all non-purchase order related vendor invoices.
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, minimizing interest charges and maximizing vendor discounts taken.
- Match all vendor invoices, vendor packing slips, Maple Lodge Farms purchase orders, MLF receiver and correspondence to MLF checks issued accordingly.
- Responsible for the maintenance of A/P issue log.
- Scan, file and maintain Accounts Payable documents.
- Communicate and effectively resolve Stakeholders inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assists in interim and year-end audit along with other audits as required.
Your education & experience matters to us:
- Post Secondary Diploma required, preferable in Finance or Accounting.
- Some hands on accounting experience required;
- Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities;
- Team-player with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work / excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;
- General Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office)
