Stahl Peterbilt is searching for a motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in our Edmonton location on a full-time basis. The eligible candidate with have 2 years of related accounting experience. The successful candidate will provide high quality customer service and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Distribute incoming vendor invoices to the relevant department manager for approval
- Investigate & reconcile Purchase Order discrepancies
- Code and post invoices, Staff Expense reports, Warranty Claims, Stock Return Credits
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Run weekly and monthly cheques
- Maintain Vendor Lists & Vendor Files
- Respond to vendor and other inquiries
- Filing and other office duties
Employment Qualifications:
- An accounting certificate or 2-3 years of progressive related accounting experience.
- A good communicator with strong organizational, analytical and technology skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check prior to hiring
