AQUATICS AI SERVICES INC, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's financial operations and play a vital role in managing our accounts receivable processes.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming payments and apply them to customer accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and send out invoices to customers on a timely basis.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts receivable to ensure timely payment.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer payments.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing and collection inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all accounts receivable activities.
- Generate reports and provide analysis on accounts receivable aging and collection status.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to accounts receivable.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
- Prior experience with customer service or resolving payment disputes is a plus.
