Whether it be in front of the camera, on air, online or behind the scenes, you would be joining a team that thrives on making connections and telling stories that are important to Canadians.This is a hybrid role with the requirement to work in the office 1 day a week (with the potential to increase in future).Your roleYou will be responsible for performing operational and technical tasks arising from digital advertising sales, and ensuring excellent customer service. More specifically, you will have to create, plan and manage digital advertising campaigns in the various systems (Advendio, GAM, Triton) and the various tools, and upload the creative resulting from these campaigns.In addition, you will check and balance sales contracts to ensure that policies, rates, standards or others are respected and you will make the necessary corrections. You will follow up on files and on customer requests regarding contracts, posting, screenshots, reports, invoicing, etc. You will resolve difficulties and assist the account executive or others in disputes. You will also need to identify potential challenges in advertising campaigns and propose the ensuing solutions with the aim of optimizing them.
Responsibilities:
- Create and contract advertising quotes as part of prior agreements or to be established by management, negotiate with clients for replacements of unconfirmed opportunities.
- Check and balance sales contracts to ensure that policies, rates, standards or others are respected; make the necessary corrections. Follow up on files and on customer requests regarding distribution, presentation, location, billing, etc. resolve difficulties and assist the representative or others in disputes.
- Analyze programming changes to identify the impact on advertising periods sold and submit alternatives taking into account contractual agreements, periods to maintain or move.
- Perform post-analysis of all customer purchases and proceed with pre-compensation and/or compensation according to campaign performance.
- Research and propose to customers, during a contract review or an advertising resumption, equivalent commercial periods in order to safeguard the sales concluded and maintain advertising revenues; submit for authorization and negotiate certain arrangements such as discounts, replacements, credits, etc. in order to resort to rescission of the contract as little as possible.
- Identify technical problems related to a campaign, be able to propose and/or implement a solution.
- Remain on the lookout for new technologies and trends, train the Adops team on the new functions of our systems and create documentation for them.
- Fill out the appropriate forms and documents; prepare the correspondence and reports required according to the information, to ensure the necessary follow-ups.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
A) Qualifications:
- College diploma in marketing.
- Three to five years of experience gained in the execution of related tasks, combined with a solid knowledge and understanding of the field of digital advertising and its technique.
B) Skills:
- Knowledge of the Windows environment and the google suite
- Experience (with) and technical knowledge of "GAM", Advendio and Ad Validation.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Moat, Triton is an asset.
- Internet media experience.
- Bilingualism (oral and written) is an asset.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and priorities.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and interact with multidisciplinary teams.
- Able to adapt to changing environments without losing focus of objectives.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good judgment and sense of initiative.
- Ability to assimilate new technologies or interfaces and to adapt while continuing to learn.
