Job Description

Expected to hire between July 17 to Aug 1 2023 (this option not available to choose from in job posting set up). Full time or part time job (minimum 5 hours a day).

Looking to add an energetic, positive, Administrative and Invoicing Assistant to our Altec team! Candidate will work as assistant to senior Administrative Assistant until deemed competent by Supervisor/Management. Must have valid Class 5 (or Class 7) driver’s license and have own transportation to and from office which is located in Charlie Lake area.

Must have good computer skills - must be confident in Excel, word etc.

Looking for someone with long term intentions.

Must be able to work well with others and follow instruction.

Must understand that safety is of utmost importance.

Must have the ability to pay attention to detail.

Must have good communication skills (both written, verbal, and digital - text, email, etc.)

Must have a good attitude, work well with others, and be helpful in nature.

Looking for someone who can learn quickly.

Employer is a professional company and employee must be respectful and a good representative of the company.

Education and/or experience as Administrative Assistant would be an asset.

This is a full time or part time position. Office hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. Full time hours would be as mentioned. Part time hours may be flexible in setting up a set schedule with Altec, but must be within the office hours as shown and must work a minimum of 20 hours a week.

No remote work, all work at Altec location.

Duties may include but not limited to: town runs (with company vehicle), carrying boxes or water bottles or other objects (max 50 pounds), filing, answering phone, taking messages, creating invoices, follow up on invoices with clients, general administrative duties, light house keeping duties (discussion on possible full cleaning duties of office).

We do offer benefits to employees that have been here 6 months – medical. Employees who are here at least 1 year -including gym, RRSP, RESP for children of employees.

Wages dependant on experience and/or education.
