Job Description
Experienced MOA required for Plastic Surgery office in Vancouver.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintaining up-to-date electronic patient medical records in EMR
- Scheduling and confirming medical appointments
- Completing OR booking packages for three hospital sites
- Booking follow-ups and coordinating referrals for further tests and consultations
- Receiving & making phone calls / emails on behalf of physicians with appropriate documentation
- Filing of incoming electronic faxes which include test results, referral letters, etc.
- Timely and effective communication with regards to above with physicians
- Ensure physicians' productivity by maintaining calendars, scheduling patient appointments, physician consultations, professional meetings, conferences and teleconferences as required
- Liaising with other MOAs at affiliated clinics to ensure organized schedule
- MSP billing claims
