Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Receptionist & Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities will include:
· Answering the phone, directing calls and taking messages as necessary
· Update/manage the company calendar and schedule field reviews, meetings and appointments as required
· Maintain contact lists
· Communicating with design team and clients via email, telephone or in person in a professional manner
· Receiving incoming courier packages and preparing / ordering outgoing couriers as required
· Process incoming and outgoing mail
· Ensure the office is tidy and presentable, including, but not limited to re-stocking supplies, making coffee, ordering supplies etc.
· Processing of reports to be issued to clients
· Perform other clerical office duties such as letter writing, filing, photocopying, transcribing, stamping shop drawings, etc.
· Managing multiple deadlines and communicating work load with other team members
Requirements:
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication, both verbal and written
· Ability to work with minimal supervision but also exceed in group settings
· Strong operational knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Working knowledge of office equipment (printers, fax machines etc.)
· Previous office experience required
We are a fast-paced, dynamic office located in Langley, BC. We provide Electrical Consulting services for New Construction developments in British Columbia. We have a strong focus on multi-Family Residential projects. But our portfolio includes Commercial, Institutional and Site Service projects as well. We are looking for a new Team Member who can help our Project Managers, assist our drafting team, while managing their own tasks as well.
