Reporting to the Eastern Zone Director of Diagnostic Imaging the Administrative Assistant coordinates administrative requirements and activities for the Zone Director as well as the management team of the DI departments.
This individual performs a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, and coordination duties. This includes, but is not limited to, general office duties (typing, faxing, scanning, filing, photocopying, collating, etc.) as well as specific coordination duties (booking/arranging meetings, conferences, accommodations, etc.).
This position also provides administrative support to Medical Leads in the Eastern Zone for Diagnostic Imaging.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- A recognized one year post secondary in office administration, business administration or secretarial diploma
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in a health care environment providing administrative support & office coordination at the executive level
- Proficient and accurate keyboarding skills – 60 wpm
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Lync), SAP and other software
- Knowledge of standards for documentation, experience in preparation of formal documents, including letters, memorandums, reports and presentations
- Must possess considerable organization and time management skills necessary to assist in management of administrative documents which are required for completion on an ongoing basis
- Demonstrated initiative, ability to set priorities to meet demanding timelines and work independently
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure without sacrificing work standards
Must demonstrate strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

$22.98 - $28.72 hourly
