Office Assistant - Antec Controls
We’re looking for a passionate and service-focused Office Assistant. In the role, you will drive Antec Controls’ culture across the business and support employee and office operations. This role will focus on employee engagement and office management ensuring a great office environment and working experience for all employees.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
- Serve to drive culture and engagement, with a focus on our purpose, values, and vision.
- Support new employee onboarding.
- Prepare welcome packages and anniversary gifts.
- Support planning and facilitation of employee events.
- Support external community charity events.
- Maintain and communicate the employee event calendar.
- Support recruitment and engagement with local educational institutions.
- Research and apply for hiring grants.
- Provide administrative support to department leaders.
- Support external client and customer events.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Manage and restock office equipment and lunchroom stock.
- Prioritize and distribute incoming mail.
The ideal candidate in this position will:
- Be energetic, personable, approachable with a high level of accountability.
- Have strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills, with an eye for detail.
- Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
- Be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to take initiative.
- Have natural ability and willingness to assist others.
- Be computer proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Experience in an administrative role is an asset.
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices is an asset.
