Job Description
Specialist office looking for an individual who has strong customer service skills, is enthusiastic and eager to learn! MOA certification is an asset but will train the right candidate. Office experience required. Position is suitable for someone with a good customer service background.
Position offers 30 - 35 hours per week on a fixed weekly schedule. No weekends or late hours. Part time or flexible hours will be considered although priority will be given to full time applicants.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Triaging calls
- Work with EMR (training provided) to maintain and update patient records
- Fill exam rooms and ensure smooth office flow
- Diagnostic testing (training provided)
- Other general office tasks as required
Successful applicant MUST possess the following:
- Customer service experience. Medical office experience an asset but will train right candidate
- Ability to learn quickly
- Excellent customer service skills, pleasant and courteous
- Effective communication skills with patients and office staff
- Self-motivated
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and follow through with tasks
POSITION OFFERS:
- Wage rate of $20 - $22/hr to start, as commensurate with experience
