Jr. Analyst, Customer Insights

Job summary:
We are looking for a Junior Consumer Research Analyst to join our Customer Insights team. In this role, the candidate will support several business units in their decision-making by providing information on customer opinions, attitudes, preferences, and behaviours. As such, the candidate will have the chance to participate in several projects that will influence the future of Groupe Dynamite.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing research activities such as event calendar management, rewards process, recruitment for one-on-one interviews and focus groups;
- Moderate and manage the research communities (Insiders) for both Garage and
- Dynamite (registrations, subscription terminations, prize draws, communications);
- Participate in the design and programming of quantitative (surveys) or qualitative research activities;
- Extract, prepare and analyze research data to draw conclusions for stakeholders;
- Write research reports to guide stakeholders’ decisions;
- Moderate, facilitate and take notes during research activities (one-on-one interviews, focus groups) with customers in French and English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, or related field;
- Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken);
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
- Statistical analysis skills;
- Qualitative data analysis skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to coordinate several projects at a time;
- Autonomous;
- Desire to learn, curious.
Even better if…
- Experience in retail or consumer research;
- Knowledge of SPSS or R analytical tools;
- Ability to popularize research results and to apply them to the stakeholders’ concepts and objectives;
- Ability to make links between research topics and adopt a global vision of the situation.
