This opportunity is a hybrid/remote position – 100% working from home or with the option to go into our Kitchener HQ!
How you will make a difference
- Articulate the Avidbots value proposition (to business and technical personas), to assess customer requirements and buying interest
- Research target accounts, define buying personas, identify key players, and gather contact information
- Plan and execute outbound email campaigns, working closely with Marketing
- Conduct effective follow-up on prospect accounts
- Understand and effectively communicate the Avidbots product to senior level executives
- Qualify sales opportunities, and facilitate prospect introductions for our Account Executives
- Manage contact data, sales campaigns, leads, and opportunities in Salesforce and other sales/marketing automation tools
As demand for Neo accelerates, we are growing our Sales Team! We are hiring a Business Development Representative to seek new business opportunities by prospecting and driving new leads in your respective territory.

Preferred qualifications & key skills
- Post secondary education in business or related field
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Minimum qualifications
- A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
- 1+ years of professional experience working in an outbound B2B sales environment
- Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include: criminal/civil background checks and motor vehicle records search
