In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the Registered Care Aide provides resident care in accordance with resident-centred care philosophy and established regional and facility policies and procedures. As part of the multidisciplinary team and under the direction of the Manager or designate, the Registered Care Aide performs nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration in addition to resident care duties relating to activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, and recreational needs. Transports residents and performs clerical duties.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00 (Rotating)
New Wage: As of April 1, 2023, the new wage is: $28.74/hour
Dunrovin Park Lodge is a complex care facility with 117 beds. The facility consists of complex care, hospice, respite and special care unit. Maple House is a secured unit with 20 beds and one respite bed specifically for residents requiring more supervision. Hospice Care Unit has three Hospice Palliative care beds and three respite beds. There is a Volunteer Program in place to accompany Residents on social outings, appointments, and provide hospice support. Hairdressing and barber services are available on site for a fee determined by the service provider. Dunrovin also provides an on-site integrated community adult day program, operating 4 days a week.
Quesnel has a population of 10,000 (2021) local residents and is one of the central interior's oldest cities and home to the world’s largest gold pan. Nestled on the banks of the Fraser and Quesnel rivers, Quesnel is the commercial centre of the North Cariboo.
