We are looking for applicants to fill positions as customer service clerks and cash office clerks
Job duties include:
Cashiers:
- operating all aspects of cash register including cash and card transactions, scanners and scales while maintaining register accuracy
- provide excellent customer service and positively engage with customers
- must be able to handle working in a fast paced environment
- bag groceries for customers
- promote store loyalty program and fundraising campaigns
- stock shelves and maintain inventory
- provide a tidy and organized check out area and workspace
- adhere to all food safety protocols, health and safety policies and any other company programs and initiatives
- preform other related duties as required
- operating customer service desk following store policies for the sales of restricted items such as lottery and tobacco
- completing employee returns and refunds
- processing rentals and returns of carpet cleaners
- answer income phone in professional manner and directing calls appropriately
Experience is an asset but not a requirement. Comprehensive training will be provided.
This position requires applicants to be available for a variety of morning, afternoon and evening shifts during the stores operational hours of 7am-10pm both weekdays and weekends.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: From $15.50 per hour
