Care In Pharmacy is currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented pharmacist to join our team. As a pharmacist at Care In Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our valued patients. We are looking for a candidate who is committed to providing exceptional pharmaceutical care, possesses excellent communication skills, and demonstrates attention to detail in all aspects of their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring the correct medication, dosage, and instructions are provided to patients.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions or contraindications.
- Provide medication counseling to patients, including information about dosage, administration, side effects, and potential interactions with other medications or dietary supplements.
- Manage inventory levels, order medications and supplies, and ensure proper storage and labeling of pharmaceutical products.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries, resolving medication-related concerns, and fostering a positive and welcoming environment in the pharmacy.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution and a valid BC pharmacist license.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (Kroll or WinRx) and proficiency in using technology for medication management and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare providers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize workload to meet patient needs.
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
