As a leading educational institution, AOLCC offers a wide range of programs and courses. We are currently seeking dedicated Compliance Coordinators to join our team at the Brampton East Campus.
As a Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will be responsible for monitoring, implementing, and improving compliance measures across various departments and functions within the college. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of compliance frameworks will contribute to maintaining a high standard of ethical conduct and operational efficiency.
Shift time: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Keeping student contacts up-to-date and maintaining student files.
- Preparing student action plans to remain compliant with ministry and OSAP guidlines.
- Supporting the finance team in the timely withdrawal process and accounts with refunds.
- Guiding student services on action items as per the student requirements - such as study plans warning emails, withdrawls, restarting, postponing, etc.
- Organize weekly student activities on a rotation basis.
- Supporting managment team with different audits and KPI reports.
- Support with the development of documetaion (i.e student handbooks).
- Monitoring the Indipendent Learning System (ILS) areas for students in need of academic assistance.
- Answering and prioritizing all student queries quickly, clearly, patiently and accurately.
- Enforcing all Academy of Learning policies fairly, consistently and immediately.
- Maintaining the college's reputation as a trusted and reliable educational institution, while exercising expertise and guidance with assisting our staff members in navigating compliance matters effectively, fostering a culture of accountability and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, law) or equivalent work experience.
- Solid understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
