The Renewals Specialist is a dynamic individual who has a SAAS background and is looking to transition into a fast-paced, customer-oriented role. The position will report to the VP, Commercial Desk within the Sales Operations Team and will work extensively with external customers as well as internal departments.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be mature and assured when dealing with high-level customer executives. We are looking for someone who will proactively seek solutions to unique customer scenarios and has the commercial skills to discuss and negotiate pricing changes. The ideal candidate will have proven customer management skills, strong communication skills, disciplined work ethic, and SaaS sales experience.
This is a hybrid opportunity that will require some in-office time based on the needs of the department.
What You Will Do
- Manage the end-to-end renewal process, including proactively reaching out to customers, presenting the new rate, negotiating via email, processing renewals, and triaging issues to the appropriate teams.
- Maintain accurate customer information and renewal records in our CRM.
- Identify potential sales opportunities and involve the sales representative as needed.
- Identify and escalate potential risks to renewals, and work with the Customer Success team to find solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless renewals experiences for customers.
- Meet or exceed renewal targets and rigorously log required customer information and outcomes.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously improve the renewal process and customer experience.
- Understand the functions and features of our product and be able to articulate enhancements and the value to customers.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a renewals specialist, customer service representative, account manager or account development representative.
- Knowledge of SaaS industry and renewals processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Results oriented, self-motivated and driven
- Confidence and the ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers including senior employees/executives
- Skilled at overcoming objections
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- SAAS Negotiation experience
