The Program:

Stepping Stones is a part of the Safe Directions continuum. Stepping Stones is a transitional program offering support and stabilization to high-risk youth typically coming out of either the Reflections Program or Secure Services.

As a member of the Safe Directions team, you will be expected to provide support within all of the programs within the continuum.

The Position:

We are looking for two regular, full-time Child and Youth Care Counsellors. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, with a rotating schedule of 7a.m. to 3p.m. and 3p.m. to 11p.m shifts, with potential flexibility.

Reporting to the Program Coordinator, our Child and Youth Care Counsellors are members of an interdisciplinary team which assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the treatment programs for youth. Our Counsellors participate in all facets of program life and are responsible for our youths’ daily care, treatment, health, nurturance, and supervision.
