Under the general direction of the Marketing Manager, the Creative Services Supervisor is responsible for directing all aspects of the
corporation's Creative Services section. The supervisor will provide a high level of expertise in design matters related to video,
photography, and graphic design. Working with internal clients and external vendors, they will work to strengthen and support,
professional and effective marketing creative to drive engagement and strengthen the corporate brand.
NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES AUTHORIZED ACCESS TO CRITICAL PHYSICALAND/OR CYBER ASSETS. A
PERSONNEL RISK ASSESSMENT AND CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Lead creative direction for marketing while overseeing supervisory responsibilities related to design staff and external vendors
in the design and production of internal and external materials including, but not limited to video, motion graphics, print,
display and signage.- Consult with other areas within the corporation, most notably the Brand Officer, to ensure consistency and alignment of all
marketing collateral with corporate brand guidelines.- Assist the Manager of Marketing in the identification, conceptualization, and development of creative to support marketing
strategies.- Develop articulate proposals, creative briefs, design specifications, and budgets.
- Participate in authoring creative standards across all channels for marketing to ensure consistency in quality, functionality, and
accessibility, as well as alignment with the overall corporate brand.
- Provide leadership to fellow staff and make recommendations in respect to their training and development.
- Work directly with the Legal Dept. regarding intellectual property and file rights mgmt. associated with creative to ensure a
proper understanding is maintained within the section as well as by external vendors with whom the corporation works.
- Oversee the management of corporate digital assets.
Qualifications:
- A four-year related degree from a university of recognized standing, with a minimum of three years directly related experience
of which includes a comprehensive portfolio of work demonstrating real world solutions.
OR- A three-year diploma in Advanced Graphic Design, with a minimum of four years directly related experience of which includes

OR
- A two-year diploma in Advanced Graphic Design, with a minimum of five years directly related experience of which includes a
comprehensive portfolio of work demonstrating real world solutions.
OR- An equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Proven experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to devise and implement new strategies and evolve standard practices to meet changing conditions.
- Ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and train personnel at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to schedule resources to meet a constantly changing demand for work from a large group of users,
including external consultants.
- Technically competent and fully conversant with current state-of-the-art design related software and hardware with a primary
focus on video (Editing & motion graphics) and graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the ability to prepare and present to staff at
all levels.
Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $2,741.20-$3,794.48
Bi-weekly / $71,271.20-$98,656.48 Annually.
