Job Description Job Description:Reporting to the Associate Manager, Administration, you will be responsible for the administration of Group Retirement Plans including RRSP, RPP, DPSP, TFSA, Investment Only and various non-registered products. You’ll provide investment/plan recordkeeping and client reporting. You must become familiar with the Group Pension Administration System (GPAS) and all GRS processes.You will be accountable for:Processing of bulk and single depositsHandling of transfers between investment funds for client/member assetsProcessing of cash withdrawals and transfers between registered plans from/to other financial institutionsHandling plan and member maintenance on GPASHandling various inquiries, telephone calls etc. from multiple audiencesDaily management of a block of businessFostering relationships with plan administrators, brokers, advisors and plan membersHandling sensitive and complex issues in a timely and accurate mannerRequired Competencies and Behaviours:Customer service focused with a positive can do attitudeStrong communication skills - both written and verbalOrganized and able to work in a dynamic and changing environmentSelf-motivated with an ability to effectively multi-task and be comfortable with tight deadlines; results orientedAbility to instill quality in day-to-day activities/processesStrong interpersonal skills - team player a mustFluency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and OutlookMust be proficient in ExcelKnowledge of rules and regulations as they relate to GRS products an asset, but not requiredKnowledge of investment/retirement arrangements and/or GRS business processes GRS an asset, but not requiredBilingual French/English an assetBe your best at Canada Life- Apply today!Being a part of Canada Life means you have a voice.
