Con-Test is Canada’s oldest and largest testing and service company for biological safety cabinets, clean benches, fume hoods, clean rooms and many other controlled environments and various types medical and scientific containment equipment. We have over 50 employees located coast to coast across Canada with customers in a multitude of industries where laboratories and clean environments are found. Such customers include universities, pharmaceutical manufacturers, research laboratories, forensic labs, food processing companies, government agencies for agriculture, food, health and the environment.
Position Summary
We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team and provide exceptional service to our clients and work collaboratively with our Field Services Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and coordinate with the Scheduling and Field Services team in the completion of requests and resolution of service issues.
- Prepare quotes and invoices for customers, and review purchase orders for accuracy.
- Review and reconcile job orders for accuracy and completeness, and coordinate with the Field Service on any discrepancies or missing information.
- Monitor and ensure planned job orders are closed with proper time completion confirmations, and necessary reports are submitted.
- Contact customers on overdue testing maintenance work and follow up on quotes.
- Help identify sales leads for sales/management personnel.
- Assist technicians with reports when needed, particularly with custom report requirements.
- Assist in the creation of facility/room drawings using appropriate software when requested.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Post secondary education (preferred)
- Bilingual (English/French) is preferred
- Prior experience in scheduling and dispatching is an asset
- Good computer and typing skills
- Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of QuickBooks software and Project Management applications a definite asset
- Strong customer service skills and a team-player
- Ability to learn new processes, tools, and other relevant information quickly
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to establish priorities, work independently and deliver objectives with minimal supervision
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills

Contract length: 6 months
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
