Tzeachten First Nation Council and Administration strive to work with the entire community to preserve and promote our culture, support the educational, social, and economic growth of the community so that the membership and residents can flourish and prosper.

We work together to develop and implement progressive, vibrant, and sustainable programs and services that contribute to the well-being of the Tzeachten membership and maintain a strong community

Position Summary and Key Responsibilities.
Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Community Services Director provides overall leadership, direction and support for the planning, development, delivery, and administration of Community Services programs including health, wellness, youth, elders, children & families, recreation, culture, community connections, education, member services and social development. The Community Services Department focuses on the overall well-being of Tzeachten members.

This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week.

The incumbent performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Tzeachten's policies, standards, practices, and procedures as directed by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

The key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Other related duties as assigned.

Work is performed primarily in an office and other community locations. May be required to work evenings/weekends on occasion to support community needs. Occasional travel out of town to attend meetings or training is required.
