The Ministry of Children and Family Development’s primary focus is to support all children and youth in British Columbia to live in safe, healthy and nurturing families and be strongly connected to their communities and culture. The ministry supports the well-being of children, youth and families in British Columbia by providing services that are accessible, inclusive, and culturally respectful.
This position manages issues and office administration services for the Executive Director of Service. The Executive Assistant (15) supervises administrative and/or program support staff.
Job Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
- Experience leading others.
PREFERENCE MAY BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WITH:
- Experience using CLIFF, CAS, eApprovals, SharePoint and iExpense systems
- Experience in programs and services provided by the ministry and the Service Delivery Division and legislation, Acts and policies/procedures, as well as a thorough knowledge of other agencies and organizations connected to the Ministry.
- More than two (2) years' experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
- More than two (2) years' experience leading others.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
