Job Description
We are a Calgary-based company that is seeking an eager candidate responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks required to keep our business running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This position will be part-time and in-person at our Staybridge and Comfort Inn locations.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Calendar management: Scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, and coordinating/managing schedules.
- Contact management: Maintaining an up-to-date database of clients, vendors, and partners.
- Expense management: Tracking and managing expenses, such as receipts and invoices.
- Post-conference/event follow-up emails: Sending thank you notes, follow-up emails, and feedback requests after events or conferences.
- Social media content management: Assisting with creating, scheduling, and posting social media content across various platforms.
- Article research: Conduct research and provide summaries of relevant articles regarding the company's industry or current projects.
- Travel management: Research itineraries, make reservations, book international and national flights, and arrange transportation for business trips.
- Projects. Ad hoc, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or relevant role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
- Experience in social media management and content creation.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
