We are looking to add a Physiotherapy assistant position at our Tower location in Calgary and only looking for long term permanent employees. (no summer students etc.)
Job Duties Include:
-Setting patients up on various treatment modalities (TENS, IFC, heat/ice, traction)
-Performing therapeutic ultrasounds
-Preparing and cleaning treatment beds between patients
-Basic laundry, cleaning, and equipment inventory tasks
-Assisting the physiotherapist and working in a fast paced team environment with other PTA's
-Getting to know our awesome patients, making their comfort a priority, and treating each one like family!
-PTAs will also be trained in, and expected to perform, Administrative Assistant duties.
Previous schooling or experience is an asset but not a requirement as all training is done in clinic.
Hours are : Monday to Friday, 32- 40 hours a week, evening shifts.
Entry level wages start at $15-16.50/hr depending on position and experience with room for advancement.
