We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team. The travel industry is exciting, fast-paced and rewarding. The right candidate has the following skills:
Key responsibilities include:
- Administration, auditing, and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable
- Data Entry into Accounting software
- Sending out statements on a weekly basis.
- Calculation of Commission and payment via ACH and Cheque
- Bank reports download
- Add/Update Client’s Profile on the system.
- All banking transactions (Cheque deposits; PAD payment etc)
- Issue and mail out Commission cheque.
- Reconciliation of Insurance Provider transactions.
- Input of GDS Segment information into accounting software
- Assist in year-end audit.
- Answering calls from Agencies and resolving queries.
- Ability to meet tight month end close deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years office experience in the Accounting Department
- Accounting Degree or bachelor’s degree, majoring in accounting.
- Ability to multitask and work well with a team.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to create and analyze financial reports.
- Excellent computer skills including Advance Level Excel and ERP
- Experience in Trams or Travel accounting software an asset
- Experience in the travel industry and knowledge of GDS a plus
