Position Overview:
We are currently hiring a dedicated and experienced Food Counter Attendant and Cashier to join our team at Ibrahim Halal B.B.Q. Shawarma. This position can be either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate's availability. As a Food Counter Attendant and Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our take-out restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, taking their orders accurately and promptly.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash and electronic transactions with precision, following all cash handling procedures.
- Prepare and package customer food orders, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, following all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely service to customers.
- Follow established opening and closing procedures to ensure the restaurant is ready for daily operations.
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Do you have proficiency in speaking Arabic? We value diversity and want to ensure we can effectively communicate with our customers who may prefer Arabic as their primary language.
- Previous experience in customer service, specifically in the food industry or a restaurant chain, is a requirement for this position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices is desirable but not mandatory.
