We’re looking for our next Frontend Developer to join our engineering team on our mission to revolutionize the continuum of care through our all-in-one foodservice management technology. You’ll be working alongside a team of exceptional developers to deliver world-class software.
A day in the life as a Frontend Developer:
- Create, test and maintain web and mobile applications
- Contribute during the project specification and requirement gathering phase
- Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs
- Build reusable components for future use
- Write and run unit tests prior to release
- Collaborate with back-end developers on integration and useability of the application
- Participate in Agile Scrum Squads using Jira
If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, then this role could be for you:
- I have strong knowledge of software development with a focus on front-end technologies
- I gained my knowledge through a degree in Computer Science, 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, or a combination of both.
- I possess an in-depth understating of JavaScript/Typescript, React, GraphQL and HTML/CSS
- I have had exposure to Docker
- I’m comfortable in a Linux environment
- I’m willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA
- I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate
